Katherine Brenna
Assistant Director for the Recreation Department of the City of Wayland MA
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Katherine now serves as the Asst. Recreation Director for the Town of Wayland with over a decade of experience in Recreation, having worked for the YMCA; where she served as the Sports & Recreation Director, Camp Director, IT Director and most recently Associate Executive Director. Before that, she was an elementary school teacher in Newton, MA. Katherine also currently serves as an Accreditation Visitor for the American Camp Association. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, puzzles, live music, coaching youth basketball and cooking.

Sue is the parent of two teenage daughters. As part of the staff at Families First since 2006, she has served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Outreach & Education, and Deputy Director. Previously, Sue served as the Executive Director of Greater Options for Adolescent Lives and brings almost 20 years’ experience in non-profit management, coalition building, and community organizing to her work. After three months as Interim Executive Director, Sue was named Executive Director of Families First in April 2016. She received a BA in philosophy from Haverford and an MSW from Boston College.
